The Analyst play a key role in performing project business analysis tasks. They work with customers and project teams to facilitate Discovery,  capture requirements, develop User Stories and support solution design, development, testing and implementation activites.

Analysts should have solid functional, industry, Salesforce.com product and other customer-centered technology knowledge including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and MuleSoft.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Create and Update Test Cases
  • Coordinate PoC, MVP, SIT, UAT
  • Develop Customer Journey Maps
  • Develop Data / Integration Maps

Skills we expect Analysts to have include:

  • Data Loading
  • Data Migration
  • Process Mapping
  • Reports, Dashboards

With mutiple ways to design a solution, the Architect is responsible for overal solution design for customers using the Salesforce.com platform and related technologies.  They recommend and oversee the most optimal solution design based on requirements.

Architects develop solutions that are future-proof and can sustain over time, scalable as users increase and limits technical debt. They  evaluate trade-offs involved in choosing one solution option over another.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Solution Design Validation 
  • Data Integration Design
  • Assess Current System Architecture
  • Resolve Technical Problems

Skills we expect Architects to have include:

  • Data Modeling
  • Platform Design
  • API Development
  • CI/CD Pipelines

Solutions developed on Salesforce.com Sales, Service or Experience Cloud require a Salesforce Developer, responsible for configuration and custom development of Salesforce centered applications and fucntions.

Solutions performing data exchange with Salesforce.com or other applications using the MuleSoft platform require a Salesforce MuleSoft Developer, responsible for configuration and custom development of APIs between MuleSoft and other systems.

Solutions developed on Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud, require a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, responsible for configuration, custom development and integration of Salesforce Mareting Cloud applications.

Developers document, program, and test aplications at various phases of completion, laying out software design, building models or diagrams to communicate the end goal and mapping out future software upgrades.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Technical Analysis
  • Data Model Design
  • Application Design
  • Advanced Configurations 

Depending on development platform, skills we expect Developers to have include:

  • SOQL, SOSL
  • API Design
  • Apex, LWC, VisualForce
  • AmpScript Development 

The Admin solves day-to-day Salesforce.com platform issues resolving problems as well as preventive maintenance. They work with customers to tailor the platform through configuration, customization and installation of third-party applications (e.g., AppExchange).  

Admins setup and support users, manage data, establish and maintain platform and solution security, document standards, and enable actionable analytics through report and dashboard development.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintain Solution Platforms 
  • Resolve Support Tickets
  • User and License Management
  • Perform Configuration Changes

Skills we expect Admins to have include:

  • Custom Tabs
  • AppExchange
  • Data Loading
  • Automate Processes
